December 8th begins the Year of Mercy

Reflecting on Mercy this morning I thought we live life like a football game . It is us against them:  Whenever I take sides I divide all of us.

We are not Republicans against Democrats, White against Blacks or any other race, because we are all God's children.

God's image of heaven is a feast where all are together in unity and love. "Mercy" is to work for that on earth.  It begins with us.
